Register Now for the 2021 Women’s (Re)Institute

A monthlong professional development event for women in education.

After the unbelievable success of our virtual event last year, we are excited to announce the return of the Women’s (Re)Institute for 2021. A virtual spinoff of our annual in-person event, the Women’s (Re)Institute is a dynamic monthlong online learning and networking experience dedicated to supporting women working in education.

This year, we’re back for another month packed full of programming, including a lineup of inspiring keynote speakers, 20+ live sessions covering a vast range of topics, and some new and exciting features.

With more speakers being announced shortly, it is an honor to present Dot Kowal, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Director of College Counseling at Sonoma Academy, and the Co-Executive Directors of the Unconscious Bias Project, Alexis Krohn and Dr. Linet Mera, as keynote speakers.

Each week in June revolves around a theme and features new and exciting live sessions, videos, articles, and more. Offerings will include both synchronous and asynchronous content so you can choose your own adventure and participate in what is relevant to you.

Aligning with Carney Sandoe’s mission, the Equity, Inclusion & Community Thread features a variety of content addressing the challenging and complex issues that face underrepresented educators, staff, and school leaders, as well as those working toward creating more equitable and just school communities.

We are happy to introduce the option of joining a cohort group. Groups will be led by a Carney Sandoe team member and will meet at various times throughout the month. Cohorts are designed to be safe spaces for discussion, storytelling, and networking.

Finally, registrants will have the option of signing up for a 30-minute career advising session with a member of Carney Sandoe’s Placement or Search Groups.

Register today and join us in June!
